It is now Quarantine day ?? I lost count to be honest but in reality speaking can we just all agree to throw 2020 away? [ *Insert mugging emoji here* ]


CORONAVIRUS, IT IS REAL Y'ALL!!

 During this Quarantine, I’ve been trying to practice self-isolation but I can never win because, unfortunately, I get hungry and where can you survive when you are 27 and broke? Nowhere other than your parents house. If I am needed you now know where to find me during the crisis. LOL


Not having my own space at the moment  has me feeling bummed because I do miss my personal space. I mean who wouldn't? Just Imagine having freedom... and then BOOM! ur stuck in a household of 7 due to a deadly virus! Did I mention being stuck with people you barely get along with? Yeah..HELL NO! Time for a CURE! ASAP!



What I been up to:

My first week living at my moms, I got bored and decided to fix up her back yard. I "tried" to garden and added a pathway to the back door. I made so many mistakes that I ended up having to take multiple trips to Home Depot. By my 5th trip I came across a Snake Plant and couldn't resist myself. The only thing is that she's now sitting by my doorway waiting for me to come home. *Tear*

The trips to Home Depot were fun since it got me out the house for a while but this experience made me realize that gardening is not for me! S/o to those who actually enjoy gardening.








Below are other tips on how to remain entertained till this chaos is over.



Arts & Crafts


I have a 10 and a 9 y/o living in my temporary home. To ensure entertainment, I had them paint on empty glass bottles or candle jars. This is a fun way to recycle glass items. Also, a more unique way to decorate your home.




Practice: Self-Discipline


We are bored out of our minds, wherefore, we find opening and staring at the fridge for a very long time entertaining. Honest question: Why do we do that? LOL

I feel like now is the right moment to practice self-discipline. Staying in quarantine at home will have us, or at least myself, gain weight as if it were to be the 'Frickin' holidays! A tip I can provide is to replace solid meals with smoothies and try to exercise in your home. Even if it’s for 10-15 minutes, search home workout plans online to help you burn calories.  


Entertainment:


 I entertain myself with social media. I have Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, and now Tik Tok I guess you can say I am an online junky! 

-Instagram is quite entertaining when there are no challenges being accepted. 

-Snapchat is just there for me to well eh- I really don't know...

-Twitter is my forever favorite. The dark humor on there is what I can definitely relate to. It also informs me about the important shit I actually need to know since I have no cable cause u know, broke life!

- Then there is TikTok which I am low key becoming addicted to.


As we are all waiting for a cure. We need to make sure we follow through with washing our hands, disinfecting, and STAYING HOME!

Let's do it for summer 2020! This was the one year I had plans for and I refuse to believe that summer is cancelled (as Twitter has been saying). I wish you all a safe and blessed quarantine life. See y'all from my phone screen  *sigh*
