Alejandra Samayoa
Alejandra is a free-spirited artist, cook, and entertainer from MD that likes to vlog for fun, paint with inspiration and cook when wanting to be in her zone. She adds a touch of her personality on any craft she makes allowing her creations to express who she is. Be sure to check out her YouTube channel for recipes or arts and crafts.
Ana Gomez
community outreach
A self taught photographer from Maryland who gets her inspiration from music, the people she meets, and anything that she feels a connection to. Ana hopes in the near future to become a festival photographer and travel the world. As the community outreach coordinator she oversees the planning that works to engage and educate the community about other organizations in the area and it's goals. As well as connecting people and cultivating relationships with individuals, businesses and other relevant organizations. Ana's excited for their future endeavors and the amazing people they will meet and help give a platform to express themselves freely.
Cindy Guerrero-Munguia
Creative outreach
Cindy is a DC born, MD raised photographer. Growing up in such a diverse area, she has always been inspired to explore and dive into art, culture, and music; especially having a musician as a father. Being a first generation Latina, she recognizes the opportunities and privileges she has and aims to use it to help others. Cindy was eager to join Gather, as their mission embodies her same values. She looks forward to her future endeavors as a photographer, as well as being part of such a supportive team.
Isabel Beatriz
President
Isabel is a first generation Latina from El Salvador/Guatemala, born and raised in Maryland. She spends most of her time sewing and designing clothes, while also in school to get her bachelors in Fashion Design and Merchandising. Being around other creatives, and being one herself, Isabel was inspired to create a platform to support other creatives. Now Gather gives her the opportunity to do so, while also giving back to the community.
Luis Grant
Social media manager
Luis is a first generation queer latin-american. He learned early on that he has a passion for events and helping other people. That's why when he heard about Gather he didn't hesitate to join the team. Luis currently helps with social media and event coordination for Gather, and is super excited to see what the future holds for this group.
Suzie Mongelos
entertainment outreach
Suzie Mongelos, who goes by the stage name Smongie, is an out-going, down to earth creative spirit. She's a first generation Latina from Paraguay. Suzie sells cars by day, while also pursuing her dreams to become an established and well known musical artist. She firmly believes in supporting other women, and also helping other creatives work towards their dreams as well. Her role in Gather helps her fulfill that mission.
